Graduated from Canute High School, Canute, Oklahoma – 1993

Graduated from Northwestern Oklahoma State University – 2000 – B.S. in Physical Education

Obtained her Master’s degree from Northwestern Oklahoma State University in 2009.

Her teaching experience includes Sports Psychology and Typing classes.

Mrs. Hamilton has 22 years of coaching experience, 4 years Teaching experience, 4 years as a Paraprofessional. 

Mrs. Hamilton was an Assistant Basketball Coach at South Barber in Kiowa, Kansas, from 1998-1999,  a NWOSU Grad Assistant for Women’s Basketball from 1999-2000, Head Alva Middle School Girl’s Basketball and Softball  Coach from 2000-2003, Head Alva Middle School and Assistant High School Girl’s Basketball Coach from 2003-2004,  the NWOSU Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach from 2004-2011.  She was the Head Cherokee Middle School and High School Girl’s Basketball coach from 2011-2014.

She is currently in her 5^th year as Head Coach for the 7^th and 8^th grade Girls Basketball program at Alva Middle School, and is a Paraprofessional at the Middle school as well.

She is married to Paul Hamilton, a 5^th grade teacher in the Alva Public School system, and has two children, Hallie (13) and Trace (10).

She enjoys spending time with family and friends.  Watching sports, and anything that keeps her actively moving, like running.
