Scholastic Meet Results

Several Alva Middle School students represented Alva at the Virtual Scholastic meet hosted by Chisholm Middle School.  The students took 100 question tests in the subjects of ELA, Math, Science, Social Studies, Current Events and Humanities.

The following students placed in the top 10 for their tests.

6^th grade

Current Events:   Keaton Adair – 4^th, Connor Adair – 6^th, Jagger Lohmann – 7^th.  Humanities:  Matthew Pannell – 5^th, River Cunningham – 10^th.  ELA:  Kayla Maier – 10^th.  Math:  Kaylen Woods – 6^th, Kayla Maier – 10^th.  Science:  Kaylen Woods – 8^th, Connor Adair – 10^th.  Social Studies: Tucker Hannaford – 8^th.

7^th grade

Science:  Katelee Martin – 4^th, Morgan Vickers – 6^th.  Social Studies: Kenadie Willis – 7^th, Kimberlie Willis – 10^th.  Current Events: Kylie Adair – 6^th.  Humanities:  Katelee Martin – 6^th, Christina Jenlink – 7^th.  ELA: Jordyn Pannell – 7^th.  Math: Katelee Martin – 5^th.

8^th grade

Current Events: Hudson Feely – 1^st, Brady Lott – 2^nd, Cambell Gaisford – 7^th. Humanities: Kaden Lambert – 5^th, Teagan Cook – 7^th, Sarah Whipple – 10^th.  ELA: Charles Shafer – 2^nd, Kaden Lambert – 3^rd, Toby Anton – 4^th.  Math: Mason Orcutt – 7^th, Harper Houston – 9^th, Hudson Feely – 10^th.  Science; Mason Orcutt – 4^th, Kaden Lambert – 10^th.  Social Studies: Jaxon Headlee – 6^th, Brady Lott – 8^th, Evan Ferguson – 9^th.

Other students who competed and were just shy of the top 10 include:  Taytum Schlarb, Dayton Murry, Cade Mackey, Madeline Ryerson, Avery Goss, Myah Graves, Hadlee Ohm.

All students who competed and placed in the top 3 earned the opportunity to represent AMS at the Tournament of Champions Meet at Redlands Community College in El Reno on March 26, 2021!!
